i thought the BET Awards was whack!! Dont get me wrong it did have its moments. Beyonce, Jamie, Neyo, Keyshia Cole and Monica. Keri Hilson needs more practice. Mary Mary and Queen Latifah rocked it! Janet Jackson made me cry. Now, it started out good then it got trashy! All that cursing and whatnot. Lil Wayne and Young Money disgusted the hell outta me! I was beyond pissed off! The hell kinda tribute was that?! "This is for my nigga MJ." The hell is wrong with them! Chris Brown was going to do Thriller but Jay-Z put a stop to that. Man aint no one worried about RiRi anymore [that sell out]. i wasted 2 hours of my life watching the worst tribute/ award ceremony i ever seen! BET should be ashamed of themselves! What a disgrace! I wonder what Joe Jackson was thinking as he seen Souljah Boy and Wayne performing..i could go on but im done 4 now...doubles kissez

Is THIS what people marched for? To have men 20-30 something year old little boys on stage saying they wish they could fuck every girl in the world... with teenage girls dancing all around? ---DOUBLE FAIL. I don't care if I lose my black card over not liking that because that was PURE GARBAGE. Young boys look up to rappers like Lil Wayne and SouljaboiCAN'T-TELL-ME-SHIT ,75% of the black men I see have on white tee's on that are too damn big and jeans that are half off the ass.... Trash like that makes me like the motown days- thank God for youtube, & since when did it become completely OKAY to be sorry ass stank hoe?Since when did it become OKAY to not be the best person you can be? YES getting money is cool, but what about a JOB or Bachelors degree? I mean fucking every girl in the world.....doesn't quite make you a gentleman, Especially Lil Wayne's fraggle rock - lemme get to negative number 3.

-3 Bey....Beyonce. Looking like Glenda the good witch of the north singing the abused animal hotline commercial song.

-4 NeYo & Mario 's bald heads......makes me want to go to Super target and get some Mr. Clean - seriously.

-5 The LACK of Micheal Jackson tributes from the artists.It could have been more.

BUT.... there are some good things I liked.

+1 the beginning with the tribute to the moment where Micheal Jackson was on stage with James Brown.

+2 JANET. Seeing her made the tears come out, after 4 days.Seeing the pain in her face finally made ME cry a little over Micheal Jackson.

WOW....maybe it is good that I did not see the show. I stopped watching Music Award shows when ...
Prince, Michael, George Michael, Boy George,......stopped getting awards! When I did catch a glimpse one year...I "RAN" from the TV!!! Thinking what the hell?.......Where are the real singers? Like Luther, Whitney?
(Yes...... as you can see it has been years since I have watched music wards of any kind)!!!??? After the Milli Vanilla mess.......I WAS DONE!!!!! ....*dont mess with my mind*!!!

Yes I agree, I only watched the BET Awards for the MJ Tribute and they messed that up like only BET would!!

I liked it, Jamie Foxx was hilarious. I was excited to see New Edition open,could of done without Bobby Brown. Neyo was excellent singing Michael Jackson's songs. Don Corneilos(however you spell his name, the host of Soul Train) made me fall asleep. Loved Maxwell, Jay Z, BBD, Drake and Lil Wayne"s performance. The best part of the show was the trailer for Wanda and Shanaenae's movie!!

These damn awards were a disaster!!!!!! Seriously, hot ass mess. The only thing that I like was the tribute to the O'Jays. There was not enough time or dedication spent on Michael. I liked B's Performance Keisha Cole, Mary Mary, and the old school with Guy, BBD, and New Edition. Other than that I had to turn, I missed Janet but I couldn't tolerate that Ghetto Mess any longer. I turned to true blood. LOL Those lil' clips and 2 and 1/2 songs they did of Mike's, that's it? No they really disappointed me.

A HOT raggedy MESS!!!!!!!

The only performances that was good was Ne-yo, the O'Jays, Monica & Maxwell.

The rest was a egg & cheese MESS!!!!!
