omg im in such denial..its crazy. the Bet Awards is gonna be soo sad. No one will ever be Michael Jackson!!
Hes Not Dead Because Legends Never Die!! Man, the world is grieving right now..ugh its truly a sad day!

I still can't believe this, I wish this was a bad dream. I mean from birth to this very day Mike was in my spirits. from the glove to the jacket, to the moonwalk, to say say say and Butterflies. He always spoke of positivity through his music. You can say what you want and think what you may but there will never ever be an entertainer that could ever touch Mike. May he rest in peace! This is such a tragedy. Disbelief...................................

Michael Jackson death threw me for a loop, had 2 regroup today. He will be missed a great entertainer and showman but I guess the Lord was ready for him 2 come and sing 4 him.

YA'll, I'm trying to keep it in! so far .......just a tear! When I was in 7th grade (when MTV started 1983) I came home from school everyday and danced to THRILLER! You couldnt tell me nothin'! I was better than his dancers (I thought)!!! Today I still remember the moves and steps.......I WILL NEVER FORGET THEM nor will I forget MICHAEL JACKSON!!!
And you are right HoneyDip, you cannot mention a great musician today without KNOWING that Michael had a role in their success such as; USHER, GINUWINE and CHRIS BROWN!!! (dance-moves, sound, etc...)

I am still at a loss for words about this, as a person who loves and appreciates music I do believe that not only Micheal Jackson was The King Of Pop, but the King of Music hands down, I say that only because he has such an influence in the music industry, from dance to his voice to his lyrics, to just him overall….I really cannot grasp his death just yet only because he was the last person on my mind that I thought would pass and was actually anticipating on his upcoming tour, he is definitely Legendary and he shines through all artists and his music will forever live on, I am saddened but I am a firm believer when someone passes that it was God’s Will!! RIP Micheal Jackson You will forever be missed! ~jAy~

I am in disbelief, and completely shocked! I feel a void in my spirit, a void in music, and that a magnificent and brilliant chapter in music history and culture has come to a close. I love to perform and dance, and I would have people tell me all the time.... "Your style reminds me of Michael Jackson!". With all the media speculation going on, I have to admit I took it the wrong way, but I realize that it is a great honor, and I am humbled to be compared to someone so legendary and great as Michael! Regardless of whatever was going on in his personal life... Michael Jackson was the Ultimate Entertainer of All Time! He always delivered every performance, and I never EVER doubted MIchael's limitless capacity to captivate millions of people worldwide! He had a beautiful and soft spirit, and a fierce, bold and brave stage presence with timeless music... He will be sorely missed by so many... Thank you for touching so many lives Michael Joseph Jackson! May your works and artistic visions live on through us forever, and may your soul finally have the peace and fulfillment that you so desperately sought out for here on earth! God Bless and keep his family, friends and millions of fans in this heartbreaking and reflective time!

I woke up this morning hoping I had a nightmare that he had died, but as I looked at the tv, reality set back in, my heart is truly broken, Michael Jackson is and will always be a LEGEND, he is like you said one of the greatest of all time though others have tried to duplicate his style, there is/was only one Michael Joseph Jackson. When I was younger and Michael use to perform with his brothers and I was in love with him, I remember my mom use to call me to watch whenever he performed on various shows. It is almost scary that I was just watching the Wiz last sunday and of course his solo, "You Can't Win" was my favorite part of the movie. God Bless His Family and May He Rest In Peace, He Will Be Forever Loved and Remembered.
