Madonna's speaks so openly about Michael Jackson @ the VMA's it was so touching:
Janet and a group of dance choreographers, including Dave Scott, Cris Judd, Brian Friedman, Wade Robson, Tyce Diorio, Travis Payne, Jeri Slaughter, Laurie Ann Gibson, Mia Michaels and Tina Landon and Ty from So You Think You Can Dance, who collectively have worked with Janet and MJ then took the stage and performed Michael's hit 'Thriller' and other dances as a tribute to MJ. It was a wonderful introduction to an amazing tribute...a tribute to a King.

Like I always say I love JANET!!! I thought that the performance was gonna be a little longer with a montage of different songs. I guess she did the most recent one that they did together to date. Which is cool and you didn't see her for the rest of the night.

I adored the MJ Tribute at the VMA's.. Janet Jackson was amazing as always! Madonna's speech was heart wrenching I couldn't stop crying. LONG LIVE THE KING OF POP!!!!!!

Yes. Love Madonna's speech, JAnet was not herself that night. Well not her current self. That performance was all throwback to me, and i adore her for it. She did her Brother MORE than Justice.

Madonna's tribute was very touching! I loved every bit of it! Janet commanded the stage and did what she does best. That performance was GREAT! Hand DOWN!! I told myself when the Thriller music hit, that if she comes out there and do the Thriller choreography that I would pass out or rip the hair out of my head, but she didn't! She still killed it though!
P.S. I didn't even see Laurie Ann Gibson out there. Maybe I was just paying all of my attention to Janet...lol

I saw Laurie a few times during the performance. Watch when the dancers come out in black & white towards the end @ 4:36 next to Janet then watch @ 4:59 there's a close-up of her.

the VMAs were pretty good...me and my mom watched the touchin moments and the crazy moments...i think the tribute was great...janet made my eyes tear up bc i have always loved the scream video wit michael and janet...i think BET should take notes on their tribute. i kno BET had little time 2 prepare but still they could have done a way better job...

Yes I teared up also when Janet came out on Scream and seeing Michael's image in the background. BET is just a mess!!! LOL
