With all the wonderful things Miss Arthur has done in her life, wouldn't it be great to see her final interview, in HER OWN WORDS talking about her career etc.

I found this clip of Bea Arthur's final interview. The clip also show Betty White, Carol Channing and Phyllis Diller.

We need to contact Merv Griffin Productions and see if entire interview will be aired. An email that was given to me was:

I'd hate for an full interview with Bea or the other legendary ladies in the clip to go unseen.

I think these woman where the ones that started it all they did. They spoke about cocaine about being gay, about artificial insemination, about racial stuff. They are great. I watch them every single day morning and evening. on Wetv and Hallmark channel. Check your local listings for the channels for you guys!!!

Another fave moment (oh there are so many) is when Pussycat and Ma dressed up as Sonny & Cher for a talent show and sang "I Got You Babe." Rose played the piano for them and it was just hysterical. Especially when Dorothy swung her Cher wig back off her shoulder like Cher. No one can watch that with a straight face.

Another great thing about GG was Bea's delivery of Dorothy's sarcastic lines. It was priceless. In fact she could just give a look or raise and eyebrow and have me ROTFL.

During interviews Bea would credit the writers but her delivery is what made it all work! She was irreplaceable and one of the best show business ever had! When she decided to leave the GG show -- "The Golden Palace" replacement was just not the same.

Thank you and R.I.P. Bea Arthur. You were the best and you will always be missed. But your legacy will live forever in the GG re-runs.

Golden Girls is on now, on the WE channel and then at 11 it comes on the Hallmark channel.

So glad to find some GG fans here. This is one of the very few TV shows that will have me LITERALLY laughing out loud while sitting all by myself in the wee hours of the night watching it.

One of my all time faves is when Sophia comes strutting in the back door of the kitchen with her yellow rain slicker and straw purse on saying "There's a hurricane a'coming! There's a hurricane a'comin'!

I can be anywhere and picture that scene and start cracking up!

hey guys!...did u kno that St. Olaf, Rose's hometown, is a real town in Minnesota. Beaver Falls is a real town as well. I just found out a few mins ago and figured i would share the info
