~I have too many..I'm into everything..it's impossible to name any specifics.

~My favorite type of music is neo-soul, but I'm also a big Hip-Hop and R&B fan. I also love Jazz, I grew up on it.

~My favorite books are poetic. I also love autobiographies to hear people's stories and how they overcame different struggles.

~As far as movies, I LOVE comedies!. I also watch alot of horror flicks, but only if I'm with someone..I can't handle them alone!!! =p

~My life is simple filled with complicated people. =p

~I just received my A.A. degree and I'm so excited about that because I've been through a lot in high school and barely received my high school diploma. I know people thought that I wouldn't get this far but I have and earning that degree is me saying "Fuck You" to them.

~I'm now on my way to getting my Bachelor's so right now, school IS my life.

~My family are more important to me than anyone else. We are very close and when there was nobody else there for me, I've always been able to depend on my family. Most importantly my mother. I thank God for having her as a mother and she is my heart, therefore it could never be broken by nobody. My only, older brother is somebody that I love to DEATH, despite how much we battle it out daily. My father and I have a complicated relationship. I sometimes feel that we would be better off if I had been a boy, but I am who I am. He's done a lot for me in my life, I just wish things were better between us but I still love him anyway.

~Poetry is my diary. I've found that I'm better able to put down how I'm feeling about different situations that I've been through in written word. I don't share my poems with many because they are so real and personal. I don't feel I'm that great, but then I think that when I'm just putting my emotions and heart out there on that paper, who can judge that? I'm just being real and being me.

~Music is my main passion. I've even thought about getting into the music industry, but not as a performer (no skills) lol. Music has helped me get through many situations. I listen to music almost 24/7. It might sound crazy, but music really speaks to my soul and spirit.

~My friends are like an extended family. I'm not as close to most of my friends as I wish I was, but old relationships with trifling exes pulled me away from my friends and it left me somewhat disconnected from many of them. I'm still thankful for those that are still there for me. No matter how many miles or time is between us, I know that I can count of them.

~Speaking of relationships, I've been hurt. I've been burned. I've been lied to and cheated on. I've loved and lost. But even though I've been through all of that, I'm learning to get rid of all that extra baggage. I'm don't want to be no bag lady. My new motto is that I will never let any man define me as a woman. They won't define me as another angry black woman. Oh no ma'am..not me! lol

~God maintains me..Prayer sustains me..Life contains me..In all, I remain me.
